Ada Brown Designs

Hi, I design and create modern hand embroidery designs for embroidery kits, soft furnishing and wall art. I love to design using natural images and reproducing them in a modern simplistic style.

I began my creative journey when a friend taught me crochet many years ago and I developed a considerable stash of 4ply yarn in a multitude of colours. I realised I could use my crochet yarn 'left overs' to create tactile, huggable cushions. The yarns and fabrics I use in my designs create beautiful embroidery pieces that are strong enough and robust enough to be thrown on your sofa and used for a relaxing comforting hug all evening long!

My wall art designs bring a splash of colour to your room and are designed to be used with a picture frame. They are usually in A4 and sometimes A3. The images are designed to look great on their own and also look stunning as a multiple group. All my wall kits work well together as I ensure uniformity of colour over the range of images.

My Embroidery Kits are designed to be straight forward using a few basic stitches. I want everyone to enjoy and get the benefits of some time out, creating some stress free embroidery. My kits are usually completed before the desire to start another work in progress kicks in! My style is embroidery on a larger scale than traditional embroidery, and the instructions easy to follow. My Wall Art Complete Kits include a pre-printed natural linen fabric, all the yarn required, a crewel needle, a wooden hoop yarn tidy, colour chart and easy to follow stitch guide. I also have kits that just include the pre-printed fabric together with the stitch guide, for you to use with your own yarn stash.

I am bursting with ideas to bring to my shop, moving forward I plan to create cushion kits and further soft furnishing ideas as well as bringing further wall art designs.

I would be delighted to take commissions for my cushions that are currently ready made pieces.

Ally Noble Fused Glass

I studied graphic design at Liverpool Polytechnic and worked in the creative arts for 35 years. I received a grant from the Crafts Council of Great Britain for my kiln, which enabled me to expand my business.

Fusing glass is my full time occupation, designing, cutting and painting glass everyday.

I am lucky enough to work from home and have a studio in the garden, my current inspiration comes from the activity around me and my love of nature. My best selling items are the garden bird hangings and in particular the blue tit, everyone loves a blue tit!

I consider my glass to be 'design lead' as each piece starts with studies from life that I turn into a cutting plan before starting test pieces. Only when I am happy do I go into production. It satisfies my ordered mind to create differently themed work that naturally fall into 'collections'.

Eva Glass Design

I make stained glass and kiln-formed (or fused) glass art, homeware and jewellery, which is inspired by my love of nature and colour. My fused glass art and homeware is designed to interact with natural light to bring patterns of light and colour to interiors. My jewellery is made from sparkling dichroic glass which has a magical property of changing colour in different light, and is intended to make its wearers feel beautiful wearing something special. I also make stained glass windows to commission.

I sell my work at arts trails, craft fairs and festivals; through shops and galleries across the UK, and through my online Etsy shop. Please visit my website https://www.evaglassdesign.co.uk/ to find out more about my work and processes or follow me on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest by searching for @evaglassdesign

Everything I sell is designed and made by myself in my studio in Stroud, in the beautiful Cotswold valleys.

Judith Brown Jewellery

I've been working with wire for over 16 years making jewellery, but recently I have been inspired by my nature walks around the Staffordshire Moorlands to capture the beautiful details in the wildflowers and grasses that appear in our lanes and meadows through the seasons. Alongside my silver wire jewellery, I now have a collection of wire flower arrangements, which sit beautifully in little vases on a windowsill as a permanent reminder of the fleeting beauty in nature.

On my website, you will also see my intricate jewellery some inspired by nature, some nostalgic, but all inspired by little details and textures. I've developed my way of working with wire, stitching, wrapping and twisting following my degree in Embroidery. I sell my jewellery through my website, through galleries around the UK, and in normal times, at contemporary craft events too. I work from my lovely studio above a quirky cafe in Leek, a small market town in North Staffordshire, where I also live.

Khayt

Khayt is all about beautiful modern macramé products that are handmade with love and care.

We have a wide range of products suitable for everyone. All products are crafted by hand with 100% cotton threads and recycled cotton ropes. Our wall hangings are made with elegant and modern design to perfectly fit your lovely home. Our beautiful bags have modern bohemian designs suitable for every occasion, and we offer a variety of home and personal accessories as well.

For the past 10 years my desire for creating has always involved a specific medium. From cross-stitching, sewing and now macrame, my passion always begins with a familiar element; thread. Going back to my roots in the Middle East I decided on the name Khayt, the Arabic word for thread.

Living in the Heart of the National Forest, my designs are inspired by the seasons, scenery and natural colours I find around me. LottiepinkArthurblue Designs

An outlet for my love of creating, colour, fabric and sewing, LottiepinkArthurblue Designs offers a range of beautifully made beanbag stands for electronic devices, fully lined project bags for yarn and craft enthusiasts in a range of sizes and OOAK artwork and illustrations. All my items are handmade and created by me in my home in Hampshire, where I live with my husband and two children, Lottie and Arthur. When I am not creating and making, I am also a freelance proofreader and editor. I see my time creating stock and custom orders for LottiepinkArthurblue Designs as an opportunity to do what I love most, while also being able to spread colour and happiness to those that purchase or receive my products. In my creative and production processes, I try to create as little waste as possible: fabric offcuts from my beanbag stands are used to make my scrappy project bags, and those offcuts that are too small for this are sent to another small business to be turned into beautiful corner bookmarks. I welcome custom orders in all my products and artwork commissions.

I make pots to be used – mugs, bowls, platters and vases in stoneware clay. I love to experiment with texture and surface pattern using slips (coloured liquid clay) often incorporating printing techniques. I also make delicate jewellery and porcelain hanging decorations, for celebrations such as Christmas and Easter, at my kitchen table. These are glazed and sometimes even finished with gold leaf or smoke fired in a dustbin in my garden!

This Lady Makes

Welcome to This Lady Makes, I’m Sarah and I work from my little home studio in Leeds producing both Stained Glass and Fused Glass pieces for your home and garden.

My current collection of fused glass hanging decorations are a mixture of subtle colours and clear glass. I prefer to work organically to produce forms I find pleasing than spend time planning out a design. I then introduce copper that when fired has a warm red tone which contrasts nicely with the darkness of the wire.

My stained glass work uses a combination of geometric and flowing designs to create simple patterns that capture the light from your window. I also like to include elements of clear or texture glass which adds another layer to the design that I find really pleasing and hope you do too.

Whitefield Designs

We create handmade decorations from natural materials - felt, fabric, wood and paper for both the home and for celebrations.

Specialising in: bunting for celebrations & the home; nature inspired papercuts; felt decorations for the home and nursery; children's party decorations. We offer bespoke commissions and personalisation options on most products.

Whitefield Designs grew out of lockdown - juggling being a single mother to two boys with a freelance professional job became increasingly difficult and stressful. In looking for ways to unwind and relax I turned back to craft - sewing and creating beautiful things makes me smile and feel a sense of achievement.

Our aim is to create beautiful things that are handmade, long lasting, environmentally sustainable (i.e. not made from plastic) that make you smile when you look at them or add a touch of something different and unique to your home.
